Jordan is a Registered Social Worker, passionate about supporting people through grief and life transitions, and has seen how transformative hard times can be. Jordan teaches mindfulness meditation to individuals and groups, and considers it a powerful support as we go through life's challenges and difficulties. Jordan uses her skills as a Certified Family Mediator to support families and friends to have brave conversations - making difficult decisions about co-parenting, death/dying, and other significant changes and challenges.
Jordan graduated from McGill University in 2006 with a joint master’s degree in social work and bachelor's degree in law. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Jordan is also a trained in family mediation (Riverdale Mediation), and a mindfulness meditation teacher, having graduated from programs led by Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and Michael Stone.
Jordan has over fifteen years experience in the social work and law fields. She has worked extensively with individuals, families and diverse populations both in Canada and abroad.
